Lucas Raymond should make his NHL debut for the Detroit Red Wings in 2021-22

 

Hockey people are running out of fresh superlatives to describe Red Wings prize prospect Moritz Seider. But former NHL goalie John Vanbiesbrouck found a description that raises the bar.

“There are generational players and then transformational players and he could be one of those,” Vanbiesbouck said

Vanbiesbrouck is now the assistant executive director of hockey operations. He’s at the World Championships in Latvia overseeing the U.S. Men’s team. He’s been impressed by Seider’s impact at such a young age.
