Some Boston Bruins fans were unhappy because injured goalie Tuukka Rask attended a concert

Nothing illustrates how difficult it is to play goalie in Boston more than all of the whining and complaining that resulted from Tuukka Rask deciding to attend a Guns N’ Roses’concert.

On social media, some fans reacted as if Rask had insulted the entire fan base. Some say if Rask (pictured on crutches) can attend a concert he should be able to show up on time to training camp. Others suggested Rask should be home recuperating from his hip surgery.

Because of the hip surgery, Rask isn’t expected to be ready for the start of the 2021-22 season. By the way, Rask is an unrestricted free agent and he could still decide to retire. The Bruins signed former Sabres goalie Linus Ullmark.

Rumor of the Day

How come Zdeno Chara is still unsigned?  Granted, he is 44 and could retire. But he played well enough last season to show he can play. Should he return to Washington? How about the Islanders? How about the Golden Knights? He could definitely help the Blackhawks.
