Dominik Hasek, ex-Detroit Red Wings
Former Red Wings goalie Dominik Hasek was harshly critical of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. He's calling for sports sanctions against Russia.

There were plenty of great things about getting to cover Dominik Hasek during his time with the Detroit Red Wings. One was that you could always count on him to tell you what was on his mind.

Hasek is taking to Twitter to speak about Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Once again, he isn’t pulling his punches. Firstly, The Dominator is calling for a complete ban on international sporting competitions in Russia. Secondly, he’s demanding the exclusion of Russia from international sports.

“Russian national teams, all Russian clubs and all Russian athletes should be excluded from all competitions in NATO and EU countries,” Hasek tweeted. “Immediately cancel any participation in all international sporting events in Russia. And Russian athletes are not allowed to appear under the Russian flag anywhere in the EU!”

Comeback Of Ex-Red Wings Avery Short-Lived
