The Hockey News offered a comprehensive list of the best 10 available NHL free agents on Monday. But the list lost its headliner when Evan Rodrigues signed with the Colorado Avalanche.

But the article still illustrates that some quality athletes are still available. The list includes former Norris Trophy winner PK Subban, veteran defenseman Anton Stralman and dashing forward Sonny Milano.
