The top of the Swiss National League scoring race looks like a meeting of the Detroit Red Wings alumni association.

Michigan native Austin Czarnik, 31, leads the SNL scoring race with 17 points (three goals, 14 assists) in 10 games for SC Bern. That gives him a two-point lead over Swiss standout Marco Lehman.

The skilled center has played 205 NHL games, including 34 games last season in Detroit. He has 51 points in those games. He had only one point last season in Detroit. Czarnik did 10 goals and 28 points in for the Grand Rapids Griffins. He put up eight points in nine GR playoff contests.

Meanwhile, former Red Wings player Filip Zadina is among the top goal scorers in the Swiss League with seven in 11 games. Davos gave Zadina a two-year deal.
