The Daily: Bertuzzi Late Goal Lifts ‘Hawks, Faces Wings This Week
Former Red Wings player Tyler Bertuzzi scored with 34 seconds left in regulation to spark the Chicago Blackhawks to a 4-3 shootout win against the Los Angeles Kings.
The Blackhawks needed more scoring from Bertuzzi and he has delivered goals in back-to-back games. He now has four goals in 12 games. That’s a 27-goal pace. The Blackhawks gave Bertuzzi a four-year deal worth $22 million last summer.
They would be content with 27 goals.
Bertuzzi will be facing his former Detroit teammates Wednesday when the Red Wings play a road game in Chicago.
