The Daily: Lombardi Scores in Griffins’ Loss; Becher Debuts
The Grand Rapids Griffins‘ best start in franchise history has been followed by a disappointing three-game losing streak. The Cleveland Monsters, the Columbus Blue Jackets’ farm team, downed Grand Rapids 3-1 Sunday night in Cleveland.
Much like their parent club, the Griffins are finding it difficult to generate shots on goal. The Griffins managed only 18 shots against the Monsters. They have been out-shot in every game this season.
