The Detroit Red Wings aren’t looking for answers as much as they are looking for players to raise their level of play. They know what the problems are.

Here are players who need to step up to give this team a chance to improve:

Wing Vladimir Tarasenko

The dynamic forward is on pace for 10 goals and the Red Wings need 25 to 30 out of him. He’s gone 11 games without a goal and he’s only scored two goals this season. Coach Derek Lalonde’s team desperately needs him to start scoring. In fairness, he has performed better of late, racking up assists in three consecutive games.
