Three Changes Red Wings’ McLellan Should Consider (+)

When you move into a new place,  you are likely to re-arrange the furniture a few times before you decide where each item works best. Red Wings coach Todd McLellan has already started to move pieces around.



McLellan will be doing more of that over the next few weeks as he experiments with line combinations and defensive pairings. In his first game behind Detroit’s bench, he split up the team’s top pairing of Moritz Seider and Simon Edvinsson.  Up front, he moved a few players like they were chess pieces. We are likely to see more of that as McLellan becomes familiar with players’ strengths and weaknesses:
