The Daily: Ex-Red Wings Soaring in Switzerland; NHL Trade Rumors

The Swiss National Hockey League continues to be a home for former Detroit Red Wings contributors.
As the 52-game Swiss National League winds down, Austin Czarnik (17-32-49), 32, leads the league in points, holding a four-point lead over Julius Nattinen (19-26-45).
Dominik Kubalik, 29, ranks No. 1 with 24 goals in 45 games. Filip Zadina, 25, came off the injured list with a hot hand. He is second in the league with 21 goals in 35 games. In Switzerland, Zadina has been the scorer the Red Wings hoped he would be when they drafted him sixth overall in 2018,
Czarnik told Detroit Hockey Now that he intends to re-sign in the Swiss League. Zadina’s original contract obligates him to play another season with the Davos.
