The Daily: Red Wings’ Raymond Can’t Save Sweden; Griffins Lose

Red Wings forward Lucas Raymond’s two assists were not enough to prevent Sweden from falling 4-3 to Canada in overtime in the opening game of 4 Nations Face-off.



The Swedes rallied from a 3-1 deficit to tie the game 3-3. Raymond assisted on Joel Eriksson Ek’s tying goal at 8:59 of the third period.

Mitch Marner scored the overtime game-winner at 6:06 of OT. Sidney Crosby drew the assist.
