The Daily: Larkin Makes Case to Be Olympian; Tkachuk Injury Woe

Dylan Larkin undoubtedly would call the 4 Nations Face-off championship game a disappointing experience. Canada downed USA 3-2 on Connor McDavid’s OT goal.
But Larkin played to strong reviews for his performance in the tournament. In the title game, Larkin played 18:54 minutes, was plus-1, with three shots on goal and four hits. He won 57% of his face-offs.
Throughout the tournament, his speed was noticeable, even in the midst of two rosters full of elite players.
“I’ve never been more impressive with Dylan Larkin than I was during the 4N,” ESPN’s Greg Wyshynski wrote.
Undoubtedly, Larkin has put himself near the front of the line for a spot on the 2026 U.S. Olympic team. USA Hockey officials and teammates appreciate how much he cares.
Red Wings captain and Team USA forward Dylan Larkin was passionate about how he hopes the 4 Nations makes Americans who have skipped the World Championships reconsider.
