Detroit Red Wings
Red Wings vs. Devils: Notes, Lines, Goalies, How to Watch

The season is almost over for the Red Wings, who are in New Jersey to meet the Devils tonight. They fly to Toronto afterward to wrap up the season tomorrow against the Maple Leafs.
The Devils are in the playoffs as third-place team in the Metropolitan Division, which has them playing Carolina in the first round of the playoffs.
The Red Wings have their last two No. 1 picks in Grand Rapids as the Griffins prepare for the AHL playoffs.
So much for headlines.
Short of releasing Steve Yzerman, news from the Red Wings is likely going to be on the dry side this summer, not including the draft.
The Devils will be without forward Paul Cotter tonight, who is serving a suspension after an illegal check to the head in Sunday’s game against the Islanders.
Cam Talbot’s season is over. Coach Todd McLellan says he’ll use Petr Mrazek and Alex Lyon in the final two games of the season. Lyon will be a free agent, and Mrazek has one year left on his contract. That means Lyon will have one more chance to display his talents before heading into the offseason.
Alex DeBrincat also has something to play for. He still has a shot at 40 goals. He needs three to get there, which would make him the first Red Wing forward to do so since Marian Hossa scored 40 goals 16 years ago.
