There’s hope defenseman Axel Sandin Pellikka, a 2023 first-round pick, might play for Detroit Red Wings next season. Defenseman William Wallinder, also could compete for a job. Nate Danielson and Michael Brandsegg-Nygard might also arrive in Detroit at some point in the season.
