The Daily: Marchand Has Last Laugh; NHL Trades; Drouin Update

Didn’t you know that Brad Marchand would eventually have something to say about Jake Walman? It came in the form of an Instagram post.
The Florida Panthers didn’t appreciate Walman laughing in the face of fourth liner Tomas Nosek after he received a delay of game penalty in overtime for shooting the puck over the plexiglass. The penalty led to the game-winning goal.
Marchand made his feelings known about the photo that went viral by asking: “Do you think he’s still laughing?”
The post shows how invested Marchand is with this Panthers’ team. He didn’t consider himself a hired gun. It seems clear that he wants to stay with the organization.
