Red Wings Invite Three Unsigned Free Agents
The Red Wings brass is also welcoming three unsigned free agents, giving them a chance to display their wares. That group includes goaltender Connor Hasley, defenseman Jake Livinavage and the player with the most outstanding name in camp, 6-foot-6, 205-pound Swedish defenseman Viking Gustavsson Nyberg. He played NCAA hockey at Connecticut last season. Prior to that, he also played at Northern Michigan and was a teammate of Red Wings defensive prospect Anton Johansson with Leksand IF.
