The Daily: Red Wings Unlikely to Acquire RFA; Bruins Moving Lysell?
A much as everyone likes to talk about the Detroit Red Wings considering offer sheets and trades for restricted free agents, more often than not the player ends up re-signing with his former team.
Several teams, including the Red Wings, have been linked to a trade for Minnesota’s Marco Rossi and now highly respected Athletic reporter Michael Russo says Rossi and the Minnesota Wild have made “significant progress” on a new deal.
This comes less than 24 hours after multiple outlets had the Seattle Kraken and Wild engaging in serious talks about a trade for Rossi.
Hearing there has been significant progress toward a potential Marco Rossi signing by the #mnwild in the coming days. As we've been reporting, a bridge deal makes the most sense.
