Detroit Red Wings
The Daily: Don’t Forget About Danielson; Will Finnie Play With Larkin?
It’s an important development that draft picks Emmitt Finnie, Axel Sandin Pellikka and Michael Brandsegg-Nygard are in a position to earn a Detroit Red Wings roster spot.
But perhaps the bigger story is that it could have easily been four draft picks knocking on the door. Nate Danielson was tracking toward a serious bid before being an injured.
Shouldn’t he be in the mix when healthy again? The Red Wings are not sure when that will occur.
“I haven’t got an update, but he’s not prepared to play at all for a little bit. I’d be misleading you and everybody else,” coach Todd McLellan said. “If I said it’s two weeks or three weeks, I don’t know. But he’s not ready
to play yet.”

Who is going to play with Dylan Larkin and Lucas Raymond? It’s certainly not etched in stone. Think of it as a work in progress.

Great game by Genborg. Scored a goal in transition also had a quality scoring chance in transition. More transition offense was good to see. Also had an incredible tip on a shot off the post.#LGRW
