Which Griffins are Next to Play in Detroit (+)

The drive from Grand Rapids to Detroit is only 150-some miles, maybe two hours and 30 minutes, depending on traffic. But it seems much longer when you are an anxious Griffins player trying to travel to Detroit permanently.

But perhaps the journey seems less challenging today when it was confirmed that three players ticketed for Grand Rapids, including one seventh-round draft pick, are now playing for the Red Wings.

First-round picks Michael Brandsegg-Nygard and Axel Sandin Pellikka and seventh rounder Emmitt Finnie undoubtedly are now inspirational figures for the prospects still playing for the Griffins:
