The Daily: Two Red Wings Prospects on Fire; Fearless Finnie

The Detroit Red Wings boast two American prospects putting up impressive offensive numbers in college hockey and the United States Hockey League.

Minnesota native Brent Solomon (109th, 2025) leads the USHL with nine goals and 15 points for the Sioux Falls Stampede. Meanwhile, Max Plante (47th in 2024, a sophomore at Minnesota-Duluth, is tied for third among NCAA scorers with 12 points in six games.

Plante, also a Minnesota native, is the son of former NHL player Derek Plante who logged 450 NHL games.
