Centennial FanFest to Celebrate 100 Years of Red Wings Hockey
Zetterberg, Fedorov. Yzerman to participate
A veritable who’s who of Hockeytown hierarchy will be attending the Detroit Red Wings Centennial FanFest. The event, designed to celebrate 100 years of Red Wings hockey, will be held from November 6-9 at Motor City Casino Hotel.
Former team captains Steve Yzerman, Nicklas Lidstrom, and Henrik Zetterberg are heading a list of more than 50 past Red Wings stars who will be in attendance at the event. Other Hall of Famers who will be participating include Larry Murphy, Brendan Shanahan, Chris Chelios, Dino Ciccarelli, Igor Larionov, and Scotty Bowman.

Stanley Cup winners like Darren McCarty, Chris Osgood, Mathieu Dandenault, Dan Cleary, Dallas Drake, Kris Draper, Tomas Holmstrom. Aaron Ward, Jiri Fischer, Vladimir Konstantinov, Niklas Kronwall, Kirk Maltby, Joe Kocur and Barry Smith are also attending the event. Iconic broadcaster Mickey Redmond, the club’s first 50-goal scorer, will be there, as will Danny DeKeyser, Jonathan Ericsson and Justin Abdekader.
Plenty To Do At Red Wings FanFest
Along with the player appearances, Q&A sessions, and autograph signings, there will be plenty of other activities offering fan participation. They include a pop-up museum, photo ops, skills challenges and other interactive experiences such as a Be The Broadaster Booth and a championship parade AI photobooth.

There will also be watch fo the two Red Wings home games taking place that weekend – November 7 against the New York Rangers and November 9 facing the Chicago Blackhawks. Both of those teams are also celebrating their 100th season in the NHL.
Single-day general admission tickets are available for purchase for $35. Four-day passes are also available. As well, upgraded single-day and four-day VOP passes are available for sale.
