The Daily: Kane’s Son Wants 600 Goals; Skinner Lifts Penguins
Patrick Kane, 37, has made it clear that he wants to play in the NHL into his 40s. But his son, Trick has other plans. After Kane joined the 500-goal club Thursday in a 5-1 win against the Vancouver Canucks, he brought his son into to his dressing room interview.
Five-year-old Patrick Kane III said his dad needed to start thinking about 600 goals.
“Don’t get retired until 75,” the boy said. His dad laughed.

Teammates have a touching affinity for who he is and what he accomplished. Everyone was wearing a Kane 500th goal t-shirt when he walked into the dressing room after doing an arena interview.
“Coming into the locker room and seeing the guys with shirts, thanking everyone and then listening to (Dylan Larkin’s) speech,” Kane said. “He’s such a classy person, and kind of what he said had me feeling all of the emotion. . . something I’ll never forget.”
