I’m not sure I understand Yzerman calling up Shine when the Griffs have a game against Iowa tonight – unless there’s a trade in the works that would include someone on the Wings roster. Shine’s a center, so could it be Kasper, Compher or Ras? Please let it be Ras. Please!

Oz

Agreed, doesn’t seem to be a reason to call up Shine unless someone’s hurt (which doesn’t seem to be the case) or a trade is imminent. Rumors are everywhere so it’s hard to know what to expect.

OlderThanChelios

I’m kind of shocked that there’s only been two trades since Tuesday, and those were minor deals.

Twinger

Looks like Elmer Soderblom is the odd man out. Ya think he’s on the trade Block?

Redwing bill

Yeah maybe the Wing can package him and Talbot for a 25th round draft pick.

Obie

Would be a good trade for the Wings.
