Jake Walman, the newest member of the defensive corps for the Detroit Red Wings, has enjoyed himself an intriguing hockey existence to date.

To say the very least, the career trajectory of Jake Walman, the newest member of the Detroit Red Wings defense, is a curious case.

“I’m intrigued by Jake,” Red Wings coach Jeff Blashill said.

As well he should be.
