No player in the NHL this season is providing more offensive production with less ice time than Detroit Red Wings forward Daniel Sprong.

The Netherlands native boasts 30 points with an average of 11:50 minutes per game. The only player even close to Sprong is Boston Bruins forward Stefan Noesen who has 27 points with an average of 12:18. Toronto’s Max Domi has 24 points with an average of 12:49 minutes of playing time.

“You can tell (when Sprong’s) got some jump offensively,”  Detroit coach Derek Lalonde said. “Sometimes when he’s going like that it feels like he’s playing downhill.”
