Detroit Red Wings
Former Red Wings Player Linked to Full House Star
Sean Avery seen with Mary Kate Olsen
The cast of the popular television sitcom Full House included a prominent Detroit Red Wings fan. Now, there is speculation that a former member of the Red Wings is dating another member of the Full House cast.
Sean Avery, 44, who played with the Red Wings from 2002-04, is being romantically linked to actor Mary-Kate Olsen, 37. The two were caught on camera spending time together in the Hamptons.
Depending upon who you ask, they might be a couple. Then again, they might not.
“Mary Kate and Sean have known each other for several years,” a source told People Magazine. “They have been in the same social circles in New York and share many mutual friends.”
Avery and Olsen were also seen together at The Row, the clothing shop Olsen co-owns with her twin sister Ashley in Amagansett, New York.
However, another source was telling US Weekly that the pairing of the two on the weekend was much ado about nothing.
“Mary-Kate and Sean have been friends since 2006,” the source said. “They had a fling for a while in 2007 and have remained friends. They see each other every summer in The Hamptons, but they’re just friends.”

At the same time, the source wasn’t ruling out the possibility of romance heating up again between the pair, who are both on their own since going through divorces.
“They’re both single right now, so there’s a possibility they could hook up again, but they seem like platonic friends when they’re together, as they have for a while.”
Avery Broke Into NHL With Red Wings
Avery made his NHL debut with Detroit during the club’s 2001-02 Stanley Cup season, though he saw no playoff action. He’d see duty in 75 games with the Red Wings, collecting 7-8-15 totals.
He also played with the Los Angeles Kings, Dallas Stars and New York Rangers during an 11-season NHL career.

The Olsen twins stepped away from acting and now work in fashion design. Of course, Red Wings fans know that Full House star Dave Coulier is an adamant supporter of Detroit’s NHL team.
