Four first-round draft picks are among the players who are participating in this week’s Detroit Red Wings development camp at Little Caesars Arena.
Both players taken earlier this week at the 2023 NHL entry draft in Nashville – center Nate Danielson (9th) and defenseman Axel Sandin-Pellikka (17th) – are taking part. Also on hand is 2022 top pick center Marco Kasper (8th). He’s bouncing back from a broken kneecap. As well, 2021 first rounder Sebastian Cossa, the goalie who was Detroit’s 15th overall selection, is also participating.
