Dylan Larkin, Red Wings
The Red Wings have won six games this season when captain Dylan Larkin was held off the scoresheet.

The Detroit Red Wings are carrying a season-high five-game win streak to the ice on Tuesday as they face the Washington Capitals at Little Caesars Arena. They won back-to-back games on Saturday and Sunday, even though captain Dylan Larkin was held off the scoresheet in both games.

Not so long ago, the possibility of the Red Wings succeeding without Larkin’s name populating the game summary would’ve been unthinkable. Yet they’ve already won six times this season in games in which Larkin was held pointless.

That’s not intended to be a knock against him. Larkin remains a significant contributor to the Red Wings cause. He’s leading on the team in goal scoring with 25.
