Detroit Red Wings draft picks Robert Mastrosimone and Ethan Phillips helped the Boston Terriers win the Beanpot Tournament for the first time in seven years.

BU claimed the title Monday with a 1-0 victory over the Northeastern Huskies. Neither Phillips (selected 97th overall in 2019 NHL entry draft) or Mastrosimone (selected 54th overall in 2019 NHL entry draft) figured in the scoring in the title game. Both did register two shots on goal.

In the Terriers’ 4-3 semifinal win over the Harvard Crimson, junior center Phillips netted the game-winning goal. It was his sixth goal of the season and fifth tally in the last seven games.

Junior left-winger Mastrosmine leads BU this season with 11 goals.
