Fourteen Red Wings draft picks will be in action at the NHL Rookie Tournament
Detroit Red Wings hockey is official back in action with the NHL Rookie Tournament. The club’s top prospects will be hitting the ice beginning Thursday in Traverse City, Michigan in preparation for games against opposition squads of NHL rookies.
The Red Wings rookie team will be playing three games against rookie talent from other NHL clubs. Detroit will be playing the Columbus Blue Jackets Friday at 3 p.m., and the Dallas Stars at 6 p.m. on Saturday. The Red Wings play their final game Monday at 11 a.m. against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Red Wings Goalies
#31. Andrew Oke (18, 6-2, 195, free agent)
Played for USA Hockey at World Juniors . . . Attended Red Wings summer development camp . . . Played 36 games for Saginaw during his OHL rookie season.
#33. Sebastian Cossa (19, 6-6, 215, 15th overall, 2021 NHL entry draft)
2021-22 Club: Edmonton (WHL)
Won gold medal at World Juniors with Canada . . . Played in 2022 Memorial Cup . . . Was WHL Goaltender of Year finalist . . . Third among WHL goalies in wins (33), shutouts (six), and goals-against average (2.28).
#60. Jan Bednar (20, 6-4, 196, 107th overall, 2020 NHL entry draft)
2021-22 Club: Acadie-Bathurst (QMJHL)
Played for Czechia at World Juniors . . . Third among QMJHL goalies in games (46), minutes (2733) and wins (28) . . . Fourth in save percentage (.912).
