Red Wings legend Vladimir Konstantinov is appearing May 20 at Pro Sports Zone in Livonia.

Legendary Detroit Red Wings defenseman Vladimir Konstantinov will be making an appearance at Pro Sports Zone in Livonia. Michigan on Saturday, May 20. During this meet and greet public autograph event, Konstantinov will be signing items, interacting with fans and even playing his favorite game Uno with a select lucky few folks.

As with previous appearances, 100% of the proceeds go directly to the Vladimir Konstantinov Special Needs Trust Fund which supports #16. This event will be special as it should eclipse the $100k mark raised by fans like all of you who’ve come together to provide aid to one of the most popular players in franchise history.

During his time performing with the Red Wings, Konstantinov was an NHL All-Star defenseman and a Norris Trophy finalist. He was passenger in a limousine crash just days after the Red Wings won the 1996-97 Stanley Cup title. The accident was leaving Konstantinov with debilitating brain injuries.

The funds raised from these signings are designed to help defray the costs Konstantinov and his family will be incurring due to changes in the Michigan automobile insurance laws.

Osgood, Lindros Chip In To Help Konstantinov

Konstantinov will be appearing at Pro Sports Zone from 12-3 p.m. The donation for a photo opp with Vladdy is $25. Donate $75 and an autograph and a photo opp are yours. Add a game of Uno against Konstantinov to the photo opp and autograph and the donation cost is $125.

Former Red Wings goalie Chris Osgood, Konstantinov’s teammate in Detroit, donated his time to sign pucks to help raise funds for Vladdy. Those are available for a $35 donation plus shipping. As well, legendary Philadelphia Flyers superstar and Hockey Hall of Famer Eric Lindros has also donated his time signing pucks, baseballs and jerseys to help raise funds for Konstantinov.

There are also Konstantinov-signed Red Wings jerseys for a $149 donation and signed pucks from Hall of Fame ex-Detroit coach Scotty Bowman offered for a $65 donation.
