Players the Red Wings May Consider for 2024 NHL Draft (+)

The best indication that the Detroit Red Wings have turned the corner in their rebuilding plan is that their fan base isn’t as dialed in about the upcoming draft as they have in recent years.

But unless they move their draft pick in a trade, the Red Wings could still end up with a pick in the top 20. Based on today’s standings, the Red Wings would make the playoffs and draft 19th overall. That’s not a drafting position where elite players are found, but the Red Wings did land Sebastian Cossa at No. 15 and Axel Sandin Pellikka at No. 17.
