New ESPN documentary highlights the Red Wings-Avalanche rivalry

The trailer for the upcoming ESPN E60 documentary “Unrivaled” about  the Detroit Red Wings-Colorado Avalanche rivalry has created a strong buzz in those two hockey communities.

ESPN pulled together the right athletes, video and storytellers to paint an entertaining picture about how this rivalry unfolded and evolved. For example, there’s Darren McCarty. Brendan Shanahan. Claude Lemieux. Kris Draper. Adam Foote. Even Vladimir Konstantinov. Therefore, the cast is strong.

As a result, fans are reacting enthusiastically to the impressive trailer. It also includes a clip of a recent Lemieux-McCarty meeting with fans in the audience.

Looks as if there will be plenty of candor. At one point, Draper comments that Lemieux seemed proud of what he did to him.”But in the end, karma is a bitch,” Draper adds.
