DHN’s Kevin Allen put forth the question of how much of the fast start made by the Detroit Red Wings this NHL season will prove to be sustainable?

Certainly, it’s a questionable everyone from hockey experts to even the most casual of Red Wings fans are pondering.

Will Detroit continue to lead the NHL in goals? Is Alex DeBrincat going to win the Rocket Richard Trophy? Could DeBrincat or captain Dylan Larkin become the Art Ross Trophy winner? Will the Red Wings finish with the NHL’s No. 1 power?

The answer to all those questions is probably not.

Still, after years of being NHL outsiders, isn’t is wonderful to even be having these conversations about the Red Wings?
